Who is the DFWMM Youth Outreach Committee?
The DFWMM Youth Outreach Committee is a committee of all high school and college students. Each individual member has unique and valuable volunteer and leadership experience in different fields. This allows the team to combine its diverse knowledge to organize events that give back to the community and get our DFWMM youth members involved.
What is the DFWMM Youth Outreach Committee’s goal?
The DFWMM Youth Outreach Committee hopes to not only create events that act as platforms for volunteering, but also we hope to inspire other members of the DFWMM youth to join us. Our goal is to improve our community in any way that we can.
What events does the DFWMM Youth Outreach Committee plan?
Some of our planned events include environmental cleanups, animal shelter volunteering, food bank volunteering, toy drives, canned food drives, assisting the homeless, and supporting local gardens.
How does the DFWMM Youth Outreach Committee work?
Each member of the DFWMM Youth Outreach Committee is encouraged to bring forth an idea and lead the implementation of the idea. The team implements the ideas by splitting the tasks into what each member is best at. The roles include finance, marketing, social media, logistics, and more!
